MV331S and MV331T feature removable stems, install in any vehicle
TORRANCE, CALIF. – February 25, 2014 (SDG MEDIAWIRE) – Rydeen Mobile Electronics announced that it has expanded the number of replacement mirror systems compatible with its versatile MultiMount series. The MV331S and MV331T rear-view mirror/monitor systems, which are now available for shipment, replace previous models and match with one of several mounting stems to fit almost any vehicle.
“Retailers have responded positively to our MultiMount series,” said Jim Newell, national sales manager. “Instead of stocking a mirror for every small set of applications, they can just stock different stems and match them to a single SKU. We’re happy to add two more compatible mirrors to the line with the MV331S and MV331T.”
The MV331S ($185.00 MSRP) series features a 3.5-inch TFT color monitor that connects to either a Rydeen-branded or aftermarket rear-view camera. The monitor turns on automatically to provide a behind-the-vehicle view, and the screen disappears behind the mirror surface when off to avoid distraction. At a width of 10 ¼ inches, the MV331S series fits most vehicles with no loss of rear viewing capability.
The MV331T ($260.00 MSRP) has all of the same features and characteristics of the MV331S, with the addition of a temperature and compass display in the upper right-hand corner. The MV331T comes with internal compass and external wired temperature sensor.
Both units can be purchased separately or as a package with one of several OEM-grade Rydeen cameras, including the MINy™, MINy HD, MINy LED, DUO™, custom Ford® Cam. Each mirror comes with a removable version of the VSM-A mounting stem, which fits most vehicles equipped with standard mirror mounts. Other MultiMount stems can be purchased separately. In addition, the MV-Adaptor is available to install the MV331 in vehicles with non-removable, ball-joint-equipped mirror stems.
