• Bracket is fully adjustable to provide camera with a clear rear view through wheel opening

• “Our company was built on the idea that vehicles can and should be customized to fit a driver’s tastes and lifestyle. So it only makes sense for us to go one step further in the innovation of our Jeep Wrangler camera by developing a solution that works with factory or aftermarket wheels. The next-gen version provides the same ‘through the spoke’ view as our original while being compatible with non-factory styles.”

Exclusive bracket design retains elevated view of first-generation model, expands applications

LAS VEGAS, November 7, 2014 (SDG MEDIAWIRE) – Brandmotion announced the second generation of its groundbreaking series of Rear Vision Kits for the Jeep Wrangler. The new series expands both features and applications with an enhanced camera and new camera bracket that accommodates mounting with an aftermarket spare tire. The kit series gives Brandmotion a single solution that covers every Jeep Wrangler, customized or factory.

“Our company was built on the idea that vehicles can and should be customized to fit a driver’s tastes and lifestyle,” said Jeff Varick, president of Brandmotion. “So it only makes sense for us to go one step further in the innovation of our Jeep Wrangler camera by developing a solution that works with factory or aftermarket wheels. The next-gen version provides the same ‘through the spoke’ view as our original while being compatible with non-factory styles.”

The new Jeep Wrangler series of kits is a complete solution to add Rear Vision to 2007-current Jeep Wrangler models. Brandmotion’s exclusive bracket design places the camera behind the spare tire with an elevated rear view. Depending on the wheel design, one of two extension brackets is used to position the camera correctly. The series includes a new camera that features on-screen park lines that can be turned on or off during installation.

The new kit series comes in three part numbers based on the required video interface. Part No. 9002-8847 (MSRP $649.95) is designed to connect directly to the factory display radio’s 6.1-inch screen. The kit includes an inline flash programmer that automatically integrates the kit with the radio, eliminating the need to have the radio’s video input “turned on” by a dealership.

For vehicles with a display-equipped aftermarket radio, part No. 9002-8848 (MSRP $299.95) connects directly to its video input, or to any video display with an RCA-style video input. Finally, Part No. 9002-8846 (MSRP $699.95) includes a replacement rear-view mirror equipped with a 3.5-inch monitor. This solution is deal for factory or aftermarket applications in which the radio does not include a display.

The new camera and bracket are on display during the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in the New Product Showcase, and at Brandmotion’s booth, No. 12033, in the North Hall.
