SOUTHFIELD, MICH. – December 18, 2013 (SDG MEDIAWIRE) – Brandmotion announced it is shipping two new Rear Vision solutions for select 2011-2014 Chrysler vehicles, both of which are designed to integrate with the factory installed radio display. The new kits enable vehicle owners to experience factory quality safety in a seamless look that only comes from an Authentic OEM™ product.
The 9002-8531 features an OEM-validated Panasonic camera with a lip-mount design for placement versatility and a re-engineered mounting base that minimizes drilling. The 9002-8531 fits 2012-2014 models of the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger and Dodge Journey.
The 9002-8532 mirrors the 8531’s features and characteristics, but is designed to fit the 2011-2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, as well as 2011-2014 models of the Dodge Durango and Caravan, Chrysler Town & Country and Ram C/V Tradesman.
“Backup cameras are optional on these vehicles, but they are sold as part of a larger grouping,” said Brandmotion President Jeff Varick. “For instance, on the Ram Tradesman, you’d have to upgrade to the Uconnect® 430N package at an additional $1,500 MSRP. Our two new kits give drivers the benefits of OEM-grade safety enhancements, using the factory radio, at a fraction of the cost.”
Both camera kits include a custom-fit wiring harness with matching connectors to allow them to interface directly with the factory navigation radio. The 9002-8531 and 9002-8532 Rear Vision kits are now available at a suggested retail price of $195.95. Both carry a factory match warranty.
